About The Position

Molekule is seeking a Manufacturing & Machine Support Technician to join our Manufacturing Team in Lakeland, Florida. The ideal candidate must have good analytical and troubleshooting skills and demonstrate knowledge in the repair, installation, and rebuilding of various machines and equipment with working knowledge and experience in electrical and mechanical systems of manufacturing machines. While good mechanical ability is needed, this position is primarily working as an operator on the same machines as well as other factory duties. This is an opportunity to join a small team with potential for both impact and growth in the company.

Requirements

A High School or Technical School graduate with 3+ years related experience or training
Demonstrated knowledge troubleshooting, repairing, and performing routine maintenance of automated and high-speed manufacturing equipment
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical, AC/DC motors, computer, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Ability to work well in a true team environment with a diverse group of coworkers.
WMS systems experience
PLC and/or other machine control systems experience

Nice To Haves

Rudimentary knowledge and experience in programmable logic controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) is a plus

Responsibilities

Evaluate and perform machine preventive maintenance to reduce or eliminate production downtime
Perform machine repairs that may require rudimentary electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge
Assist with installation and startup of new equipment brought into the facility
Work with other machine operators to manufacture our products
Participate in start-up, change over, and shutdown of operating equipment
Assist in other areas of the plant as needed - shipping, receiving, service and repair, and fulfillment
Enter quality, inventory and production records into the WMS
Maintain a safe, clean, organized production line and work area
Follow company and OSHA rules and regulations, actively participate in safety events, and complete all safety training activities
