About The Position

This is a Union position that follows a Collective Bargaining Agreement. The primary purpose of this role is to set up, adjust, maintain, and operate the W+D converting machine and all associated equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Must be available to work all shifts (1st Shift - 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, 2nd Shift - 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, 3rd Shift - 11:00 pm - 7:00 am)
• Ability to distinguish color
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Ability to read small print

Responsibilities

• Setup size change for current product line
• Process W+D Flexo Plates
• Perform machine troubleshooting as required
• Operate high speed envelope converting/printing machine
• Operate motorized power equipment
• Perform TPM’s as required
• Replace and set rotary knifes
• Maintain 5S and a safe work environment
• Understand and perform Color Management
• Understand and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Use test and gauge equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Work with computer and automation equipment
• Work with solvents, oil and grease
• Work from heights
• Use hand and power tools

Benefits

• Pay rate of $23.85, increasing to $27.58 after 6 months
