About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Logistics Scheduler. This role is responsible for scheduling customer orders, planning internal inventory needs. This role monitors the movement of inventory supplies and production build schedules with Purchasing, operations manufacturing, and warehouse teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience within a Manufacturing and/or Logistics environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience leading teams (i.e. Team Lead) or leading/supervising direct reports.
  • All Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now AND in the future.
  • Relocation is not provided. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Eaton's Williamsburg, VA facility.

  • Computer proficiency including, Microsoft office 365 tools, SharePoint, SAP

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly and longterm logistics schedules
  • Coordinate shipments, deliveries and pickups with carriers
  • Optomize routing and scheduling to improve effiency and reduce costs
  • Customer order review for non-standard materials with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing
  • Communicate with warehouse and customers regarding schedules and changes
  • Maintain records of schedules and shipments using Eaton systems
  • Identify and troubleshoot scheduling conflicts within operations team
  • Collaborate with purchasing, production operations, customer service teams in supporting customer delivery targets
  • Ensure compliance to company policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support prototype build and PPAP scheduling on new product development
  • Monitor and activlely communicate product leadtime to customer service and sales teams
  • Communicate and escalate stock out and line down occurances to appropriate teams
  • Work with CI team to develop and maintain min max stocking points based on material leadtimes
  • Work with CI team to develop and maintain kanbaning of materials for operations
  • Supervising a small team of hourly employees, including assigning daily tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring productivity and adherence to company standards
