Manufacturing Load Tech - 1st Shift
About The Position
Performs essential job functions as directed under close supervision. This position is safety-sensitive due to the nature of the business and a heavy industrial market. The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to, efficiently and carefully placing customer parts onto, into or out of baskets, tubs, racks or other containers as required. The employee must immediately bring any unusual problem, irregularity or concern to HIP Operator, Supervisor or management. Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping. Must be aware of environment concerns caused by process and report deficiencies to Supervisor. Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position. This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage. Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.
Requirements
- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Must be able to muti-task.
- Must be able to work 1st shift; Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment.
- Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
- Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions.
- Ability to lift up to 35/lbs.
- Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
- Ability to hear in person and via phone.
Nice To Haves
- May be required to work overtime or any shifts, including weekends.
- 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
- Crane and Forklift experience preferred.
