The Manufacturing Lead provides frontline supervision to production operators, ensuring safe and effective daily operations through workflow coordination, adherence to standard work, operator training support, and timely escalation of equipment, process, and quality concerns. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering, Technical, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 yrs experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or other industrial environments required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a production environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, coordinate workflow, and respond to changing production demands.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in glass manufacturing, automated equipment, or window/IGU production.
  • Experience leading or coordinating frontline production work in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily production activities for frontline operators to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.
  • Assign work, monitor workflow, and ensure labor, materials, and line readiness support the daily production schedule.
  • Reinforce adherence to standard work, safety procedures, quality requirements, and production documentation practices.
  • Train and coach operators on equipment use, work instructions, safe practices, and expected production standards.
  • Provide first-line troubleshooting support for production and equipment issues and escalate concerns to engineering, quality, maintenance, or site leadership as needed.
  • Support in-process inspection, shift communication, and production reporting to maintain continuity and traceability.
  • Identify recurring floor-level issues and support continuous improvement efforts to improve safety, quality, and workflow.
