About The Position

The Manufacturing Lead will be responsible for coordinating and organizing daily production activities within the Coupling Shop. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and team leadership. The lead will ensure productivity standards are met, provide feedback to supervisors, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

SBD Level 2+ or equivalent external experience
Ability to read, write and speak well in English.
Ability to understand and execute instructions well.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one year experience as a CNC Operator, Quality Inspector or Production Operator Level 3+ or equivalent knowledge.
Some leadership or supervision experience.
Ability to read blueprints, micrometers and other precision measuring instruments.
Ability to lift a minimum of fifty pounds and push/pull 75 pounds.
Must be able to pass applicable testing as required.

Nice To Haves

Ability to use SAP.
Ability to create/analyze daily status/production reports.
Ability to read and understand blue prints/log sheets.
Knowledge of the Quality Control Inspection, CNC Lathe machine and Swage Machines, stress relieving, and end finishing Operations.
Understanding of Production and Coupling Shop processes.
Demonstrate knowledge of Quality Control functions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and organize Toolbox meetings.
Operate the In-Touch or other similar Production System.
Understand work assignments, priorities and good communication.
Understand MPS.
Provide corrective and preventative actions for technical issues.
Troubleshoot technical issues.
Provide appropriate feedback to supervisors.
Ensure all team members are focused on the appropriate jobs/tasks according to priority and complexity to meet productivity standards.
Communicate in a professional manner with internal and external customers, support groups, and third parties.
Perform other duties assigned by manager.
