Pay Range: $16.80 - $23.10 Position Summary: As a Manufacturing Lab Assistant, you will support the lab by preparing, processing, and/or finishing materials for the use in manufacturing products. This position is for a summer position to help in inventory and manufacturing areas. This position could be responsible for inventory cycle counting, product preparation, printing and applying labels. Working in the manufacturing area and clean room lab, employees will also label and cap products as necessary, daily, and weekly lab cleaning and participate in annual cycle counts. This position will also assist the filling operations with organizing, unpacking, keeping inventory in order and other projects as necessary. This position is Monday through Friday. This is a seasonal/summer position. Date of start and end can be determined based on the applicant’s school end/start dates. Requirements

  • Current College Student or recent graduate
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required
  • Must have the ability to follow work instructions and priorities as determined by a supervisor
  • Job will require standing and moving to pack orders
  • Must demonstrate flexibility to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learning how to perform multiple functions within the department

Responsibilities

  • Document results, process, and refer to past batch records
  • Maintain and organize product storage areas (coolers, freezers and shelves)
  • Understand and follow appropriate lab protocols with capability to follow department specific SOP’s and proper use of equipment and hand tools.
  • Organize and unpacking inventory
  • Capping and Labeling of vials
  • Assist with Weekly / Quarterly / Extensive ISO 7 Lab cleans
  • Bulk intermediate inventory management
  • Assist with the filling equipment/operations
  • Participate in continuous process improvement efforts
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Help prepare experiments and projects as needed
  • Maintain records and data as needed
  • Work closely with the lab staff to work on special projects as needed
  • Follow guidelines and comply with all company safety, quality, and training procedures and regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
