About The Position

The primary responsibility is to guarantee the accuracy of incoming goods and outgoing orders while maintaining the daily flow of inventory throughout the warehouse.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
Proficiency with data entry and Microsoft office software
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Able to multi-task and meet daily deadlines
Speaking, reading, and writing in English as a first language
Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to operate tasks in SAGE 100
Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license are required
Physical ability to periodically lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs

Operate a forklift (certification can be obtained)

Responsibilities

Unpack incoming shipments and inspect the product to ensure accuracy according to the bill of lading and report to Purchasing
Ensure product/materials are moved into appropriate bin locations both physically and in SAGE to guarantee inventory accuracy
Communicate with the production floor daily to provide necessary materials for work tickets
Process work tickets and maintain/update bill of materials
Provide quality control for completed work tickets and outgoing sales orders with the ability to process shipments
Communicate with vendors to provide quotes, negotiate pricing, and process purchase orders to assist the Manager of Purchasing-Inventory Control
Perform cycle counts and coordinate teams to accomplish tasks effectively
Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
Maintain a clean & safe environment
Operate a forklift (certification can be obtained)
Able to follow instructions as directed by management
Must have the sense of responsibility to accomplish tasks without supervision
Use equipment for receiving, shipping, and inventory control
Follow and design processes and procedures
Operate SAGE 100 efficiently
