Requirements

Previous hands-on experience with welding equipment in an industrial or educational setting.
Familiarity with welding certifications such as AWS (American Welding Society) standards.
Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties related to welding.
Experience with quality control and inspection techniques.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language.
Associate must have the ability to communicate internally and externally effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.
Perform welding/fabrication tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding under supervision.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to accurately assemble components.
Inspect welded joints for quality and adherence to specifications, identifying and correcting defects.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and proper equipment handling.
Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Additional duties may be assigned as required.
