Chemours is seeking a Manufacturing Finance Manager to support our Advanced Performance Materials (APM) business. This hybrid position will be located at our Wilmington, DE HQ and report to the Business Finance Director. The APM Manufacturing Finance Manager will actively support the business unit’s Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams in their end-to-end processes, analyses, and forecasts, in addition to ad hoc financial initiatives. The Manager will also lead a team of analysts in their support of the business manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

  • Degree in finance, business, economics, or engineering and/or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience finance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial / analytical tools
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication (oral and written) skills

Responsibilities

  • Partner with APM business teams to provide finance support for key activities, namely end-to-end cost of goods sold (COGS) forecasting
  • Support the tracking and reporting of Plant Fixed Site (PFC) for each APM manufacturing site
  • Evaluate plant performance as well as the purchases of key raw and third-party materials as it relates to variable cost of manufacturing (VCOM)
  • Support and drive analyses of business capital expenditures and net working capital decisions
  • Gain an overall understanding of key business drivers and trends in order to aid the APM finance teams on earnings / cash optimization and key strategic initiatives
  • Drive cross-functional forecast integration across Operations, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Finance, including oversight of the Site Financial Analysts
  • Work with various reporting systems and tools, such as Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, SAP/BW, and OneStream, to analyze financial performance and drive process automation / digitization
