Take on a leadership role within a dynamic team at the Ohio Assembly Plant (OHAP), which manufactures three commercial vehicle platforms — Econoline, Super Duty, and Medium Truck. The plant is in the midst of a site expansion that will support a new vehicle program in the future. We're seeking an engaging, business-savvy individual who can build strong relationships with operating partners across the plant. The ideal candidate thrives on modeling frequent changes to support better business decision-making, and is driven to uncover and deliver cost-saving opportunities through a continuous improvement mindset. We're looking for a change agent — someone who actively seeks out and implements new technologies to modernize how the controller's office and operating teams function. This role is on-site, as close collaboration with the production facility requires regular face-to-face engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or engineering.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
- Capable of managing several projects simultaneously.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Hands-on experience with relevant systems (e.g., SAP, Power BI, SharePoint, Python, etc.).

Responsibilities
- Deploy budgets to operating partners, help shape roadmaps to hit targets, and present the Cost Operating System to operating team members.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the operating team on cost-related issues.
- Identify, champion, and implement cost-saving initiatives (with a "Lean" mindset) in partnership with operating counterparts.
- Lead the controller's office role in PwC Finished Vehicle and GAO audits.
- Monitor supplier chargebacks, support recovery negotiations, and manage ad hoc business requests in a fast-paced setting.
- Take part in Business Control Center (BCC), Plant Control Center (PCC), Department Control Center (DCC), and Zone Control Center (ZCC) reviews.
- Perform daily floor walks to spot opportunities for improvement.
- Research and introduce new technologies to modernize the finance function.
