About The Position

This role is for a Manufacturing Final Process Team member on the 2nd shift. The position involves conducting job duties with safety as a priority, performing various manufacturing tasks such as washing parts, staging parts, and segregating non-conforming materials. The role also includes equipment maintenance, producing quality parts, performing required testing and paperwork, maintaining communication, adhering to housekeeping standards, reducing lead times, optimizing production cycles, and maintaining competitive assembly costs.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; strength in arms and legs.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2 – 3 years proven experience working with CNC machinery, such as mills, lathes, or grinders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules.
  • Perform Wash at the Wash Pad and Wash Line.
  • Stage parts for next operation.
  • Segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions.
  • Maintain equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Produce quality parts/assemblies and eliminate the cost of non-conformance.
  • Perform all required testing, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.
  • Align with all safety and work instructions.
  • Maintain clear communication within department.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as the need arises.
  • Reduce lead times and optimize production cycle to conform to "make-to-order".
  • Maintain competitive cost associated assembly including labor, material, tooling, inventory, etc.
