About The Position

JE Technology Solutions is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing ERP & Business Systems Manager to lead the continued deployment, optimization, and administration of our Made2Manage (M2M) ERP system and to improve the company's data, reporting, and operating processes. This is not a traditional IT support role. It is a business transformation position with direct access to the General Manager and company owner, focused on making operational and financial information easier to capture, easier to trust, and easier to use. The successful candidate will work across Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, Purchasing, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Field Operations. The role will translate business needs into practical ERP workflows, controls, dashboards, reports, training, and standard work that support profitable growth and on-time project delivery.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience administering, implementing, or substantially improving a manufacturing ERP or business system.
  • Experience working directly with manufacturing operations and cross-functional business processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into workflows, reports, dashboards, controls, or system configurations.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, business-intelligence tools, Excel, reporting, and data-management practices.
  • Experience leading user training, system adoption, process change, or change-management activities.
  • Strong analytical thinking, project management, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work primarily on-site in Apopka, Florida, and engage directly with office and shop-floor users.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Made2Manage (M2M) experience.
  • Direct M2M experience is preferred but not required; strong experience with another manufacturing ERP will be considered.
  • Experience in engineer-to-order, custom fabrication, aerospace, defense, industrial, or project-based manufacturing.
  • Strong Power BI, SQL, reporting automation, database, data-modeling, or data-warehouse experience.
  • Experience supporting MRP, routings, bills of material, production scheduling, capacity planning, inventory, purchasing, receiving, and job costing.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, project accounting, WIP, inventory valuation, earned-value concepts, and revenue recognition.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, APICS, CPIM, or related certification.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator and internal business owner for the Made2Manage (M2M) ERP system.
  • Lead ERP implementation, optimization, configuration, testing, enhancement, and user-adoption efforts.
  • Configure and maintain modules, workflows, permissions, dashboards, reports, forms, and integrations.
  • Partner with department leaders to define how ERP should support engineering, manufacturing, planning, supply chain, program management, quality, finance, and field operations.
  • Manage upgrades, user acceptance testing, change control, system documentation, procedures, and role-based work instructions.
  • Lead development of a scalable reporting and data environment, using internal resources and external specialists when appropriate.
  • Establish a single source of truth for operational and financial reporting.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and automated reports using Power BI, SQL, Excel, and related tools.
  • Improve visibility into bookings, backlog, revenue, gross margin, project profitability, labor productivity, on-time delivery, inventory, schedule adherence, material shortages, and cash forecasting.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, security, consistency, and documented KPI definitions.
  • Analyze current workflows and identify practical opportunities for simplification, automation, standardization, and stronger controls.
  • Reduce duplicate data entry, manual spreadsheets, reconciliation effort, and time spent searching for information.
  • Define required data inputs, transaction ownership, timing, approvals, validations, and reporting outputs.
  • Translate approved business and accounting requirements into system workflows, reports, validations, and controls.
  • Support continuous improvement while maintaining alignment with the company's quality management system and controlled processes.
  • Improve purchasing workflows, material planning, production scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory-management processes.
  • Develop visibility into shortages, supplier performance, purchase-order status, inventory health, capacity constraints, and schedule adherence.
  • Improve reporting for project milestones, budgets, actual costs, labor utilization, profitability, risks, and recovery actions.
  • Support leaders in identifying exceptions, delays, budget overruns, and decisions requiring escalation.
  • Partner with the General Manager, financial accountant, and external finance or ERP specialists to improve job costing, project accounting, labor and material cost tracking, WIP, inventory valuation, margin reporting, and financial controls.
  • Help ensure operational and financial information is captured accurately at the correct transaction points.
  • Support the financial accountant with maintainable reports, reconciliations, master data, workflows, and exception monitoring after implementation.
  • Train users across all business functions and levels, from shop-floor employees to executive leadership.
  • Develop role-based training materials, standard work, user guides, and troubleshooting resources.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and support to improve data quality, timeliness, system adoption, and accountability.
