Manufacturing Equipment Technician
About The Position
We are looking for an Equipment Technician to support our SJE Rhombus brand. This role will work out of our Detroit Lakes, MN location. Detroit Lakes is the home office for SJE and is the leading manufacturer of our liquid level control products, including pump control panels, alarm systems, float switches, and level monitoring solutions. Our SJE Rhombus brand is a leading provider of liquid level control products and pump control solutions for the water, wastewater, and sewage industries across residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, and agricultural sectors. As our Equipment Technician, your primary role will be to repair and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Repairing equipment involves incidental and scheduled repairs as well as preventative maintenance. You will assist the Manufacturing Engineers with continuous improvement projects. You will develop, modify, and fabricate components and devices for production equipment. You will troubleshoot system faults (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic), repair and requalify equipment or processes. You will audit equipment records for proper prints, back up stock, and manual and troubleshooting instructions.

- A 2-year degree in Electrical Technology, HVAC or equivalent degree and 1-2 years of experience are required.
Responsibilities
