Why this role matters Uptime drives output. In this role, you are the reliability engine—eliminating failures before they start and fixing the tough ones fast. You’ll blend hands‑on craftsmanship with data-driven insight to keep assets safe, stable, and productive. Your impact Own both preventive and corrective maintenance at an advanced level across mechanical, electrical, and control disciplines. Diagnose issues by observing equipment performance, accessing internals, inspecting for defects, adjusting instruments, replacing components, and validating with electrical/mechanical tests. Identify and procure needed parts and supplies; execute work independently to industry best practices. Use lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other machine tools to fabricate/repair parts; perform welding as needed. Champion 5S and maintain a clean, orderly workspace. Advance continuous improvement—optimize processes, measure results, and capture cost savings. Document work thoroughly; analyze CMMS histories to inform maintenance strategies. Troubleshoot PLCs and control systems, resolving hardware, software, and configuration faults. Leverage predictive technologies to collect and act on equipment condition data. Coach less experienced technicians, provide leadership to small crews, and take on stretch tasks to grow capabilities. Engage in ongoing OJT and self‑directed technical learning. Adhere to all safety procedures, exhibit strong situational awareness, and proactively address hazards.
