The Manufacturing Equipment Operator is responsible for manufacturing pharmaceutical batches by setting up, cleaning, operating, and maintaining equipment. This role executes all Production processes while strictly adhering to cGMP, Standard Operating Procedures, documentation protocols, environmental health and safety guidelines, and other applicable regulations. The operator is expected to fully participate in departmental projects and quality working teams, supporting the hands-on execution of activities related to product manufacturing or packaging. They will support leaders and subject matter experts, production, operations projects, and process improvements, while maintaining accurate and complete documentation. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining product and process quality, minimizing downtime during startup, performing and verifying the integrity of sterilizing grade filters, and working in a classified area (ISO 7) while gowned for extended periods. The role requires obtaining and maintaining clean room gowning certification and adhering to good clean room techniques. The operator will use and troubleshoot heavily automated Supervisory Control Systems for batch processing and tank/line cleaning and steaming, and must be able to sample pH readings and perform titrations. Attention to detail is critical to maintain batch sterility. Filter integrity testing using bubble point and diffusion testing methods is also required.
