About The Position

As a Texas Instruments Equipment Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team-oriented environment. You will support manufacturing operations, evaluate, select, and order equipment that is most appropriate and cost-effective for the manufacture of company products. You will also oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, keeping current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues. Additionally, you will study equipment performance and reliability, participate in data analysis and problem resolution, and perform lot and equipment dispositions to support the continuous flow of production and to minimize cycle time in a high volume manufacturing 300mm wafer Fab running Analog Technologies. You will establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process, provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations, and define and write preventative maintenance schedules.
