About The Position

Kohler Co. seeks Manufacturing Engineers II for its Casa Grande, Arizona location. This role is responsible for the controls and electrical aspects of installing, commissioning, and validating equipment and processes at the Casa Grande facility. The engineer will provide technical support to ensure plant electrical and controls equipment operates efficiently, is optimized, and meets all safety standards, including troubleshooting of equipment downtime. Additionally, the role involves developing and implementing continuous improvement, cost-saving, and error-proofing solutions integrated into the production line or manufacturing process. A key responsibility will be serving as the AGV project site lead, encompassing project scoping, vendor and technology selection, RFP/RFQ processes, design review, installation/integration, function development and debugging, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)/Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), training, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or related field and one year of experience in the job offered or in a Manufacturing Engineer-related occupation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or related field and three years of experience in the job offered or in a Manufacturing Engineer-related occupation.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the controls and electrical portion of installation, commissioning, and validation of assigned equipment and processes of the Casa Grande facility.
  • Provide technical support to ensure plant electrical and controls equipment are operating, optimized, and meet all applicable safety standards, including troubleshooting of down equipment as required.
  • Provide continuous improvement, cost saving, and error proofing solutions that are integrated into the production line or manufacturing process.
  • Work as the AGV project site lead.
  • Involved in project scoping, Vendor and technology selection, RFP/RFQ, design review, installation/integration, function development and debugging, FAT/SAT, training, and documentation.
