About The Position

This role involves troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic valves and tooling used in production, including sensors, dispensing equipment, and stamping equipment. The technician will review hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic circuits, fabricate assembly aids, and perform time and constraint analysis. Responsibilities also include placing equipment purchase orders, updating documentation, mentoring others on processes, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Training will be provided for specific tasks and software.

Requirements

  • Two years associate degree in Engineering and/or applicable experience in machining, tool design and engineering.
  • 1-3 years of experience working as a manufacturing technician or in a related manufacturing role.
  • Experience in process engineering skill sets (APQP, FMEA, Flow Charts, Control Plans).
  • Experience in developing manufacturing processes, including assembly and test procedures used in a production environment.
  • Must have GD&T knowledge.
  • Must be able to decipher electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Must have a strong technical background.
  • Ability to work well independently and in team settings.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills both written and oral.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and work well in a fast-paced, high-impact setting where priorities can shift quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluid power knowledge a plus.
  • Experience with CAD software a plus.
  • Knowledge of precision measuring tools and statistical analysis a plus.
  • Previous experience in an ISO 9001 environment a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic valves and tooling used in production, including two-hand sensors, liquid dispensing equipment, and pneumatic stamping equipment.
  • Review hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic circuits and schematics to troubleshoot test setups and equipment.
  • Fabricate and assemble shadow boards, racks, and assembly tables.
  • Disassemble hydraulic valves for troubleshooting.
  • Perform time and constraint analysis studies.
  • Place equipment POs in SAP software.
  • Update documentation in Q-Pulse.
  • Mentor others in the importance of processes and proper test/assembly setups.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
