About The Position

Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove, a leading manufacturer of luxury kitchen appliances, is a family-owned company in the Madison area. We are seeking a motivated individual to work as a Manufacturing Engineering Technician on 2nd Shift. The hours for this position are M-F 2PM – 10PM. This position has a strong emphasis on Fabrication within our manufacturing environment. This position would be working in a hands-on manufacturing environment where safety, quality and teamwork are of utmost importance. Individuals in this role can expect to share ownership of projects, achieve a high level of job satisfaction and feel like a valued member of the organization. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in a fabrication role
  • Able to work independently and within teams
  • Able to learn on the fly and be an excellent problem solver
  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Experience with the operation of and programming of sheet metal equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in industrial engineering technology or related
  • Experience reading electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics
  • Experience with Amada, Cincinnati, Fanuc Robotics, Allen Bradley Controls

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment and perform root cause analysis / Corrective Actions
  • Program corrections for various sheet metal and plastics fabrication equipment
  • Assist with new product introductions through program development and optimization
  • Assume equipment responsibility for downtime, preventative maintenance and improvements
  • Key team member in operator training sessions
  • Ensure safety throughout manufacturing practices, procedures and equipment
