The Manufacturing Engineering Technician Level 2 is responsible for more complex implementation, documentation, and improvement of manufacturing processes. This role requires a deeper understanding of manufacturing workflows, the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, and the capacity to work more independently. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, including SOPs, work instructions, process flow diagrams and equipment layouts. Support in the implementation of process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives. Assist in the collection and analysis of production data to identify trends and areas for potential process improvement. Support process improvement initiatives by conducting time studies, data collection for capacity analysis, and workflow optimization. Collaborate with production teams to ensure that process changes are effectively communicated and implemented. Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, minimizing production downtime. Conduct regular inspections of processes to identify potential issues before they cause failures. Provide training and support to Level 1 technicians on documentation standards and basic process improvement techniques. Assist engineers in evaluating new manufacturing technologies and methods. Collaborate in the design of tooling and fixturing for production environments. Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor. Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate Click Bond policies and procedures. Assist in maintaining clean, orderly, and hazard-free work areas. Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented. Other duties as assigned.
