Requirements

  • Academic training in mechanical engineering or aeronautical manufacturing at college or university level is required (or equivalent experience).
  • A good knowledge of French is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a method agent or NC programmer is a strong asset.
  • Good knowledge of English is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Developing manufacturing methods for P&WC engine components (turbines, compressors, combustion chambers, etc.).
  • Supporting and optimizing manufacturing methods to meet the delivery requirements of the manufacturing center.
  • Review engineering design to validate feasibility from a component manufacturing point of view.
  • Define manufacturing strategy (processes used, sequencing, etc.).
  • Order required tooling, collaborate with the tool design team.
  • Write work instructions for machinists.
  • NC programming.
  • Technical support for production lines.
  • Participate in the purchasing of manufacturing equipment.
  • Project Management.
