Manufacturing Engineering Manager
About The Position
Jered, a PAR Systems Company and leader in engineered solutions for naval and maritime systems, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager. This role involves leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, systems, and operational capabilities. The manager will provide leadership to the Manufacturing Engineering team, support production through process optimization, automation initiatives, tooling improvements, and capital projects. Success requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership or people management experience preferred
- Experience supporting fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, or heavy manufacturing environments preferred
Responsibilities

- Improve manufacturing performance across the organization, enhancing safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and support to production.
- Drive automation, tooling, and capital improvement initiatives.
- Partner effectively with cross-functional teams to solve manufacturing challenges.
- Develop the team.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuously improve manufacturing processes to support operational excellence and customer commitments.
