Manufacturing Engineering Manager (Requsition #4291595)
About The Position
This role is responsible for the Profit & Loss for the Division, customer support, engineering, and production management. The manager will oversee staffing and manpower, vendor relations, and research & development of new services and the latest fuel nozzles. They will provide technical know-how and support for Portable Air Test Stands and Flow test benches for fuel nozzles, including maintaining calibration of benches, tools, and measurement devices. The position also involves quotations and bid development, parts & details manufacturing, approving technical work methods, routers, and drawing packages, monitoring work efficiency, job prioritization, and technical & financial planning. Additionally, the role includes on-the-job technical training of new employees and quality management and improvement. Domestic US travel is required 25% of the time.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or the equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Two (2) years of experience in Gas Turbine Fuel Nozzle Repairs and Manufacturing or related experience
- Experience with Fuel Nozzle Repairs & Servicing - Dry Low NOx Combustors: DLN1.0, DLN1+, DLN2.0, DLN2.6
- Experience with Fuel Nozzles Parts Manufacturing
- Experience with Flow Calibration of Fuel Nozzles & Flow Adjustment
- Experience with Customer Management
- Experience with Fuel Nozzle Inspection & Repairs Technical Reports
- Experience defining Fuel Nozzle Service Scope as per type of fuel nozzle
- Experience with Fuel Nozzle Servicing - Standard Combustion
- Experience with Technical Training of technicians
