Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Technology.
• Completed Sophomore status.
• Completed courses such as Time & Motion Study, Computer Graphics, and Facilities Layout/Mfg. Cost Analysis.
• At least one year of experience with spreadsheets and word processing tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Completed courses such as Mfg. Materials and Processes, or Production and Operations Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Manufacturing Engineers and the production team to bring designs for jigs, fixtures, and workstations to life.
• Conduct real-time studies of assembly line operations using videotapes and timing equipment to gather data for process improvement.
• Create Gantt charts to visualize project evolution and timelines.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, including timeline and financial analysis.
• Explore new technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency and safety metrics.
