About The Position

Wing is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for its Manufacturing Team in Palo Alto, California. The team develops the manufacturing lines and processes used to build Wing’s autonomous delivery fleet. During the 12-week paid summer internship, the intern will collaborate with the manufacturing lab and multidisciplinary engineering teams on a high-impact project. The work includes evaluating hardware assemblies using Design for Assembly (DFA) principles, developing CAD and prototype automation concepts for key assembly stations, and validating concepts through hands-on testing. The aim is to reduce station cycle time, eliminate process bottlenecks, improve manufacturing processes, and lower overall manufacturing costs. The program is hybrid and in person, with start dates in May or June. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in a degree program and intend to return to it after the internship.
