About The Position

RTX is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Manufacturing Engineering Intern for the Summer of 2027. This onsite role offers hands-on experience and exposure to a dynamic manufacturing environment. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to apply engineering knowledge, assist in solving manufacturing challenges, and collaborate with a cross-functional team, including manufacturing engineers, production leaders, quality engineers, technicians, and design engineers.

Requirements

Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite programs
Experience using CAD software (CREO preferred)
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, U.S. permanent resident, or individual granted refugee or asylee status in the U.S.).

Responsibilities

Support production teams by assisting with technical troubleshooting, process improvement, and documentation updates.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address manufacturing challenges and enhance product quality.
Gain hands-on experience with operational tools and software commonly used in manufacturing processes.
Contribute to process optimization projects aimed at improving productivity and reducing costs.
Learn about and assist in the development of new manufacturing techniques and technologies.
