About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer. Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Interest in manufacturing processes, production systems, and lean principles
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, hands‑on environment
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and a proactive mindset
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing engineers in day‑to‑day production activities and improvement initiatives
- Assist with process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, cost, and efficiency
- Collect and analyze production data to support process optimization efforts
- Assist with tooling, equipment, or layout evaluations
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance
- Observe and support troubleshooting of manufacturing issues as needed
