About The Position

The main role of the manufacturing engineer intern is to work as a project manager. Through the introduction of new equipment, continuous improvement, equipment modification or new tools integration, he will collaborate with different technical groups to meet the objectives. The autonomy of the intern will be a key skill to coordinate the different projects. He will have the opportunity to work with suppliers and integrators through his participation in the mandates of the team. The stimulating work environment is divided between the shop, the office and remote work.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
  • Pursuing a degree in engineering
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (spoken/written)

Responsibilities

  • Analyse problems and develop solutions (20%).
  • Coordinate the project teams and execute projects on production lines (70%).
  • Prepare and present business cases (10%).
