About The Position

Lennox International (LII) is a leading global provider of innovative climate-control solutions for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) markets. We are seeking a visionary Engineering Leader to lead manufacturing engineering and facilities operations for our 750,000-square-foot Stuttgart, Arkansas site. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on driving operational excellence, advancing continuous improvement, and building strong, high-performing teams. In this role, you’ll help shape how products are designed and built, lead strategic investments, and make a lasting impact on safety, efficiency, quality, and long-term plant performance. This position is 100% onsite in the Stuttgart, Arkansas, manufacturing facility.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of successful leadership experience in large, single-site industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience in strong Lean environments is required.
  • Experience with CAD, AutoCAD, or similar design tools.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs.

  • HVAC manufacturing or industry experience is preferred.
  • A self-motivated, resourceful, and entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to learn, improve, and lead change.
  • Lean certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical organization to achieve key engineering objectives while staying aligned with budget and schedule targets.
  • Review product designs for manufacturability and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and ease of assembly.
  • Drive manufacturing engineering initiatives that reduce assembly costs and improve plant operations.
  • Foster strong collaboration across engineering and manufacturing teams to support seamless execution and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage the capital budget to support strategic investments and site priorities.
  • Own the preparation and management of Engineering Department financial budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental ISO and SOX requirements.
  • Lead and develop team members, building a strong culture of accountability, engagement, and growth.
  • Provide hands-on project leadership and coordinate multiple initiatives with key stakeholders.
  • Create project plans, timelines, critical paths, and milestones to keep initiatives moving forward successfully.
  • Evaluate project opportunities through cost-benefit analysis to assess financial, business, and industry impact.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on continuous improvement strategy and Lean transformation initiatives.
