About The Position

Responsible for improving pretreatment product quality, reducing the scrap rate in the pretreatment production process, and enhancing output.

Requirements

  • Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and/or Mandarin.
  • Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership, and customers.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods.
  • Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip).
  • Visual acuity including, but not limited to: NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
  • FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
  • DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are.
  • COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
  • FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software.
  • Competent in solving difficult problems in production.
  • Familiar with production management knowledge and ability.
  • Competent in leading, communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Skilled in coating technology, enhancing, and training subordinates.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize production workflows, layouts, and standard work.
  • Support new equipment installation and lead process validation.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve issues.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, yield, and downtime.
  • Support the launch of new automotive glass products and ensure smooth transition into mass production.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).
  • Other duties as assigned.
