About The Position

Initiating, leading, and executing on product industrialization activities including equipment selection, process development, process characterization and process validation, in support of new product development as well as design changes. Performing design for manufacturing (reliability & serviceability), equipment, and labor capacity planning. Driving key performance indicators such as Cost of Goods, Yield, Output and Quality throughout projects and into commercialization. Providing in-depth knowledge of problem solving linked to manufacturing processes and equipment. Collaborating with cross-functional team members throughout product development phases to ensure program success. Supporting internal and external manufacturing, and site to site manufacturing transfer projects. Making data driven decisions using appropriate analytical methodologies. Employing equipment, processes and procedures which promote a healthy, safe, and secure work environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience commercializing products in a manufacturing engineering or product/process development related role.
  • Knowledge of design for manufacturing, assembly, and testability.
  • Demonstrated ability with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred).
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or 4+ years of equivalent manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with stents, catheters, delivery systems, medical device consoles or similar, is highly preferred.
