About The Position

This role is for Manufacturing Services in the Engineering/Diabetes Sensors area. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and one year of experience in the medical device manufacturing industry. Bilingual (English & Spanish) and Project Management skills are required. The shift is a 12-hour shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Experience in the medical device industry, problem-solving, and Yellow/Green Belt certification are also necessary. The company is looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a willingness to ask for help, a love for the scientific method, teamwork, and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• Support production scale-up by optimizing manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Identify and implement improvements to increase throughput, efficiency, and yield.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, Supply Chain) to eliminate production bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Evaluate and improve equipment, tooling, and line layouts to support higher production volumes.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and perform root cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Support process validation, qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
