About The Position

Leads by example living our core values. Develops oneself to become the Subject Matter Expert on the global and local processes across different Operations areas and product families. Develops oneself to become the Subject Matter Expert responsible for the development, implementation, continuous improvement and daily support of all production software. Identifies and drives improvement projects and initiatives to support Cost, Quality, Delivery and Safety initiatives. Participates in project team meetings, manages tasks, schedule and deliverables for achieving successful on schedule completion with a high degree of quality and attention to detail. Proactively identifies growth and development opportunities within their role both technical and professional and drives for continual improvement. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge of relevant product development methods and best practices (i.e. Design for Manufacturing, PFMEA, Lean, Agile development). Advanced knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Desired Qualifications Required Education: BS in Engineering or related field Preferred Education: Advanced degree in Engineering or related field Experience: Hearing or medical device experience preferred. Understanding of LEAN methodologies, the tools and has experience using them. 2+ years of experience in a production environment with assembly and leading engineering projects. Travel: Limited travel as needed by project. 2-3 weeks annually. Other: Other Information Direct reports: N/A Indirect reports: N/A Working Environment: Office and light assembly operations. Physical Demands: Sitting, standing, walking and support of assembly operations. No heavy lifting or strenuous activity. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Requirements
