About The Position

As a member of Wabtec’s Global Operations Equipment group, the Manufacturing Engineer communicates business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. The role uses relevant experience and expertise to solve problems and collaborates with teams to address manufacturing and quality issues related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment, and design. The position involves daily interaction with team members during problem resolution and collaboration with key stakeholders to support internal customers. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in manufacturing or quality.
Ability to work effectively on a team and serve as a positive change agent.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate across levels and within a complex matrix.
Managerial-level presentation skills, with the ability to sell ideas and influence others.
Understanding of LEAN and Six Sigma concepts and a quality mindset.
