About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Production Engineering team is hiring a Senior Electrical Manufacturing Engineer (level 3) to support the technical statement of work in San Antonio, TX. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, TX. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5 years related work experience
  • Working knowledge of REDARS, GOLDesp, WIRS, Microsoft Excel (medium to advanced skills), IVT, MESci.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62.

  • Advanced knowledge of REDARS, GOLDesp, WIRS, Microsoft Excel (medium to advanced skills), IVT, MESci.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and implements production and tooling methodologies.
  • Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
  • Reviews, identifies, and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
  • Builds and implements manufacturing plans.
  • Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
  • Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.
  • Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
  • Reviews and assists with technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.
  • Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to difficult problems.
  • Implements lean principles and technologies.
  • Reviews electrical design requirements and approves new releases and revisions to existing designs.
  • Reviews and implements non-conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications.
  • Validates Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) and Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand within the program production system.
