About The Position

The career level Manufacturing Engineer will be skilled in manufacturing equipment, assembly and process improvements and overall manufacturing process support. The work is performed in a manufacturing environment where innovation, creativity and initiative are used to support and improve current manufacturing operations. The work will be focused on high volume assembly and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering support role in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of high-volume manufacturing and testing.
• Previous experience with computer- based office and engineering software, including Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of high-speed assembly manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of vision inspection systems.
• Proficient with Fanuc robot fault recovery and programming.
• Proficient with CAD Software Statistical Analysis.
• Proficient with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all manufacturing technical documentation is up to date.
• Provide technical direction to internal teams while overseeing external vendors to ensure manufacturing processes, equipment, and solutions meet quality, efficiency, and production requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive problem-solving initiatives, including improving equipment efficiency, resolving downtime events, and addressing customer quality concerns.
• Provide day-to-day support of manufacturing operations and maintenance.
• Participate in identifying and/or resolving safety and ergonomics issues.
• Facilitate or deliver training for team members and maintenance personnel, while also developing technical training manuals and work instructions as needed.
• Participate in project planning and coordination to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
