About The Position

We are hiring an Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer to support CNC machining and precision manufacturing operations in a fast-paced aerospace-focused environment. This is a true hands-on manufacturing engineering role, not desk-only, offering exposure to CNC machining, process development, and production launch. The role provides an opportunity to grow into full Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities quickly and is a high-visibility position working directly with production and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience (internships and co-ops count as working experience).
  • Internship, co-op, or up to 3 years of manufacturing or machining experience.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.
  • Exposure to CNC machining (VTL, lathe, milling machines).
  • Basic experience with CAD (NX preferred) and CAM tools (Mastercam or InPlot).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on first-piece setup or machining experience.
  • Exposure to PPAP or manufacturing validation processes.
  • Toolroom or precision machining environment experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define machining methods, process sequences, fixturing, raw materials, and inspection requirements for precision components.
  • Support VTL, lathe, and milling operations including setup, first-piece validation, and production release.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure dimensional and quality requirements are met.
  • Select tooling and fixturing to ensure repeatable, high-accuracy machining processes.
  • Verify parts using precision measurement tools (gauges, height stands, etc.).
  • Create and maintain setup sheets, operation sheets, and routing data in manufacturing systems.
  • Assist with programming and process development using Mastercam and InPlot.
  • Develop fixtures, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation using NX.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve efficiency and manufacturability.
