About The Position

Productive Resources is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Davenport, IA. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering work for a project or process. Operate in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process. At this level, projects are of moderate scope and responsibility or may be a significant portion of a major and diverse project or process; decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors and/or managers. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work for support personnel, contractors and suppliers. This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology discipline or equivalent related work experience (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical engineering preferred).
Strong personal accountability, follow-through, and ability to foster a positive, engaged team environment.
3 or more years of experience with manufacturing processes, quality, tooling, preventative maintenance, and facilities.
Experience with engineering tools and manufacturing execution systems.
Experience leading and implementing projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills with operators, peers, and leadership.
Self-motivated and able to execute with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Lead and manage small to moderate scope capital projects.
Establish and maintain layouts, labor standards, methods and sequence of events for assembly operations.
Analyze, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.
Provide support and troubleshooting for current assembly operations.
Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas for Articulated Dump Truck assembly operations.
