About The Position

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Rehlko, you'll be at the center of our operations — owning continuous improvement, solving real production challenges, and helping our teams build world-class home energy products. You'll apply Lean Manufacturing principles, collaborate across functions, and make a visible impact from day one. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited engineering or engineering technology program
  • Solid internship or co-op experience
  • 1–2 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer in a production or assembly environment preferred
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement that matters by leading and participating in Rehlko Operating System events, productivity initiatives, and cost reduction projects.
  • Champion a safe and ergonomic workplace by designing processes that protect people and partnering with production supervisors and maintenance to proactively identify and resolve unsafe conditions.
  • Solve production problems by analyzing operations to maximize equipment utilization, improve quality, and keep the line moving, working alongside Production Supervisors, Materials Engineers, and Design Engineers.
  • Help bring new products to life by collaborating with Design Engineering, Marketing, and the production floor to coordinate new product introductions, establishing shop routes, evaluating capacity, and ensuring a smooth launch.
  • Be the technical resource your team relies on by providing hands-on technical support, monitoring critical processes, partnering with Maintenance to sustain equipment, and coordinating with Quality Engineering to maintain ISO9001 compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable product compliance requirements including the Clean Air Act, California Code of Regulations, and California Health and Safety Code Requirements.
