About The Position

Our client is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with space systems experience and strong capabilities across prototype, LRIP, and low-volume manufacturing. The role requires expertise in assembly, integration, and test (AIT), and close collaboration with IPT leads to define process flows, author work instructions, and develop tooling and support equipment. Familiarity with Creo and Costpoint is required. The engineer will support mechanical and electrical assembly, integration, and subsystem testing; provide hands-on support for first-article builds and troubleshooting; and help develop test setups and define ground support equipment. The role also includes processing MRB/NCR activities and driving RCCA outcomes, while using Costpoint for routings, work orders, BOM validation, and cost tracking. The client is a recognized leader in advanced laser, lidar, and laser-communication technologies, providing electro-optical solutions for defense, space, and aerospace missions. The organization describes its culture as collaborative and flexible, with a focus on innovation, technical excellence, customer needs, curiosity, professional challenge, and long-term growth. It is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
