Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Deep, hands-on experience in an engineering role where you've built things (through CNC machining or advanced fabrication)
• Working command of GD&T
• Blueprint reading skills
• Ability to solve problems methodically
• Ability to communicate clearly with everyone from the shop floor to the front office
• Proactive approach to identifying and closing gaps

Responsibilities

• Reviewing requests for quotes
• Sharpening understanding of customer needs
• Ensuring manufacturing and production control teams have necessary resources
• Designing cost-effective shop routing
• Building routers for efficient tool and material movement
• Identifying opportunities to expedite product without sacrificing quality
• Identifying fixturing and special tooling needs
• Troubleshooting process challenges
• Providing technical guidance to keep production moving
• Building working relationships across departments
• Sharing knowledge freely
• Bringing collaborative energy to all tasks
