About The Position

You will be a Manufacturing Engineer on Third Shift for the PAC-3 program. The team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective, and providing engineering support to the production floor. As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing tooling and equipment designs, supporting the production floor, and driving process improvements. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment with a team that values safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, focusing on improving production processes and adopting new technologies. This position is located in Camden, Arkansas, and requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Knowledge of hand tools and machine tools and the ability to teach others how to use them.
  • Ability to work Third Shift.

  • Proficient with MS Office suite.
  • Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, CREO, or SolidWorks.
  • Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems/equipment used in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical design.
  • Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes.
  • Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Knowledgeable of engineering materials.
  • Ability to identify and solve complex issues.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
  • Troubleshooting production issues using failure mode effects and analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions (RC/CA).
  • Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions and Bill of Materials (BoM).

Responsibilities

  • Development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item.
  • Design / documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Creo / Solid Works.
  • Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes by analyzing and using problem solving skills in a team environment in accordance with production rate requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Developing and implementing new manufacturing processes and systems.
