We’re hiring a driven Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer to join our elite, lean engineering team in Arundel, ME. We are a high-end facility, focusing on highly complex, tight-tolerance components for the aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and oil & gas industries. Our shop produces these advanced parts through ultra-precise milling and turning operations. At its core, your role is to own all the engineering work required to make those manufacturing processes a reality, including developing machining strategies, designing custom workholding, writing flawless programs, mapping ERP routing, and driving continuous shop floor optimization. In this role, you will own the manufacturing process from start to finish. You’ll use SolidWorks and ESPRIT CAM to program multi-axis lathes and mill-turn machines, design your own fixturing, and create highly detailed setup sheets and inspection documentation. We aren’t just looking for an academic engineer who sits behind a desk; we want someone with real, hands-on machining experience who knows how metal behaves, specifically high-temp alloys like Inconel and Titanium. If you are a self-starter who wants to work alongside seasoned machining experts, this is your home. Note: We are highly open to out-of-state candidates and can offer a sign-on/stay bonus to assist with relocation for the right fit!
