About The Position

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 depending on experience, plus bonus opportunity under the Karcher Incentive Plan. This is how you WOW: Drive Process Excellence: Improve KNA manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment to increase productivity, enhance quality, and reduce manufacturing costs while optimizing resources. Lead Project Lifecycle: Plan, schedule, and execute detailed phases of manufacturing engineering work for moderate to major-scope projects, ensuring successful implementation. Support Production & Transfers: Provide day-to-day production support to Operations while taking a lead role in the inter-company transfer of manufactured products globally and domestically. Manage & Mentor Teams: Direct, coordinate, and manage the activities of engineers, technicians, and assigned resources assisting with project assignments. Solve Problems & Innovate: Conduct thorough investigations for research projects, identify technical or resource concerns, and implement swift corrective actions.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical) from a four-year college or university.
  • 5 to 7 years of professional Engineering or Operations experience, including at least 2 years of dedicated project management experience.
  • Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, tools, and processes, complemented by strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office products, alongside expected skills in MS Project and Visio.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional coursework in Lean/problem-solving techniques
  • Experience with new product production start-ups working with off-site design teams.
