About The Position

We are looking for an aggressively forward-thinking and passionate Manufacturing Engineer to join a team dedicated and committed to implementing world-class manufacturing methods and processes, including collaborative robotics, unattended machining, and custom design solutions.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment which includes interpreting blueprints and familiarity with GD&T
• Previous experience with CAD systems
• Authorization to work in the US

• Previous experience working in a production environment with electro-mechanical assemblies
• Proficiency with CREO and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
• An analytical problem solver who can identify root causes and provide corrective solutions

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• A team player who can also work independently with minimum supervision

Responsibilities

• Design, and develop manufacturing methods and tooling
• Implement manufacturing and process automation including robotics
• Participate in a critical role during concurrent engineering efforts for new product introduction
• Lead lean initiatives including effective utilization of Six Sigma tools
• Provide definition for capital investments related to manufacturing process improvements and automation
• Provide manufacturing process support to production areas acting as the technical representative and the design engineering liaison
• Effectively analyze product and process designs for the purpose of waste elimination, continuous improvement, and productivity initiatives
• Ensure that all manufacturing processes meet or exceed site environmental health and safety guidelines
