Requirements

  • Experience with Manufacturing, Test Equipment & Quality Systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High level of technical expertise
  • C ollaborate well with others
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or equivalent work experience
  • Moderate walking, standing, heavy lifting (50lbs), carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching for this job description

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement
  • Determining resolutions and implementing improvements
  • Innovating, researching and developing new processes, equipment use , and products
  • Creating test protocols, parts, and fixtures
  • Establishing testing procedures and requirements for optical characterizations
  • Specifying and qualifying optical components
  • Supporting analysis of collected data
  • Collecting, processing, and analyzing camera images and 3D depth data
  • Preparing detailed reports
  • Writing procedures for operations and equipment use
  • Developing and benchmarking system performance models
  • Following detailed instructions and procedures
  • Prioritizing assignments
  • Working independently and completing assignments on time
  • Staying organized and making decisions within assigned responsibilities
  • Working as a team member
  • Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Performing other duties at the Departmental Manager’s discretion
  • Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to Micro-LAM Company Policies
  • Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, etc.
  • Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to management and/or safety Committee Members immediately
  • When operating the Machin e, the Operator MUST wear safety Glasses
