Requirements

Experience with Manufacturing, Test Equipment & Quality Systems
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
High level of technical expertise
C ollaborate well with others
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or equivalent work experience
Moderate walking, standing, heavy lifting (50lbs), carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching for this job description

Responsibilities

Evaluating manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement
Determining resolutions and implementing improvements
Innovating, researching and developing new processes, equipment use , and products
Creating test protocols, parts, and fixtures
Establishing testing procedures and requirements for optical characterizations
Specifying and qualifying optical components
Supporting analysis of collected data
Collecting, processing, and analyzing camera images and 3D depth data
Preparing detailed reports
Writing procedures for operations and equipment use
Developing and benchmarking system performance models
Following detailed instructions and procedures
Prioritizing assignments
Working independently and completing assignments on time
Staying organized and making decisions within assigned responsibilities
Working as a team member
Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing
Performing other duties at the Departmental Manager’s discretion
Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to Micro-LAM Company Policies
Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, etc.
Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to management and/or safety Committee Members immediately
