About The Position

Develops oneself to become the Subject Matter Expert on the global and local processes across different Operations areas and product families. Develops oneself to become the Subject Matter Expert responsible for the development, implementation, continuous improvement and daily support of all production software. Identifies and drives improvement projects and initiatives to support Cost, Quality, Delivery and Safety initiatives. Participates in project team meetings, manages tasks, schedule and deliverables for achieving successful on schedule completion with a high degree of quality and attention to detail. Proactively identifies growth and development opportunities within their role both technical and professional and drives for continual improvement. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Lead through vision. Keep the Company’s vision at the forefront in decision-making and action.
  • Knowledge of relevant product development methods and best practices (i.e. Design for Manufacturing, PFMEA, Lean, Agile development).
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills required.
  • Excellent people skills required.
  • Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
  • BS in Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a production environment with assembly and leading engineering projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Engineering or related field
  • Hearing or medical device experience preferred.
  • Understanding of LEAN methodologies, the tools and has experience using them.
