This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer (ME) familiar with the Rocket Engines in the Testing Environment to collaborate with other ME experts to establish common standards and help move the team forward with forward leaning advancements and technologies. This person will be a member of the group responsible for planning key initiatives and represent the ME function within the group and cross functionally across organization. In this key role, you will establish standards for the development and implementation of manufacturing processes within a testing environment- including design for manufacturability, work instruction creation, tooling procurement support, process planning, configuration management, and configuration of efficient work cells. You will test out new technologies and take part in long-term planning activities to support detailed preparation for scaling our business to meet growing demand. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical competence. They are skilled in driving continuous improvement and embracing new technologies. They thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
