This role troubleshoots machining issues, improves tooling strategies, and partners with quality and operations to reduce scrap, variation, and cycle time. The engineer leads process validation activities, supports new product introduction, and drives continuous improvement using structured problem‑solving methods. They also manage capital equipment projects, ensure proper machine and tooling specifications, and maintain clear process documentation. Acting as a technical liaison across engineering and manufacturing teams, the Manufacturing Engineer ensures efficient, capable, and cost‑effective machining operations.
